Landmine Rotations at Home Using Dualbell Dumbbell Converters

A NYC Trainer’s Take

Landmine rotations are already a go-to exercise for core strength and rotational power. But during this session, NYC personal trainer Michael Marguilies noticed something that stood out immediately when using Dualbell dumbbell converters for the move.

“It’s fantastic,” he said. “I’m really getting a lot out of this exercise.”

What made the difference wasn’t the movement itself — it was how the load behaved. The slight instability introduced by using dumbbells required more awareness and control through the core without taking away from proper execution.

For home gym training, especially in limited space, setups that increase engagement without adding equipment can be incredibly valuable. As Michael noted, the instability didn’t distract from the movement — it enhanced it.

Sometimes, getting more out of an exercise isn’t about changing what you do, but how the weight moves while you do it.
